Obituary

Diana K. Pryor, a woman of unwavering faith and deep devotion, passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 74. Born in Oakland, California, on June 19, 1951, Diana lived a life defined by her commitment to her values and the people she loved.

A cornerstone of Diana’s life was her relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was more than a belief; it was the foundation of her character and the lens through which she viewed the world. This spiritual strength guided her every action, providing a source of grace and wisdom that she shared generously with everyone she encountered.

Diana’s greatest earthly joy was found in her family. She modeled the compassion of her faith through her roles as a wife and mother, creating a legacy of love that will continue through the generations. Her home was a place of warmth, reflecting a life lived in service to those she held most dear.

Beyond her family, Diana was a cherished friend. She possessed a rare gift for making others feel truly seen and valued, nurturing lifelong connections with a spirit of kindness and a constant, listening ear. To her friends, she was a steady source of encouragement and a living testament to a life lived with divine purpose.

She is now at peace in the presence of her Lord, leaving behind a community of family and friends who will miss her dearly but carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Doris (Chapman) Weaver and sister, Deborah Holland. Diana is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, James Pryor II; children, Michael (Cathy) Petrie, Karen (Paul) Schanz and Matt (Aimee) Pryor; grandchildren, Joel Petrie, Benjamen and Lukas Schanz; Aiden, Charlotte, Claire, Adalyn, and Hattie Pryor; and brother, Mark (Linda) Weaver.

Visitation will be held TUESDAY, April 7, 2026, 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm with Pastor Todd Schreiner officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
