Diane Marie (Ketler) Nicholas, 79, passed away May 21, 2021 at her home. Born in Massillon, Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and provided child care in her home. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas, with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage; her son, Mark; a brother, Bob and her parents, Wilbur and Regina Ketler. Survivors include sons, Tom Jr. and Brian (Dawn); daughters, Teresa (Chuck) Shetler and Lisa (Tammie) Lockey-Nicholas; daughter-in-law, Julie Nicholas; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren, one sister and two brothers. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice who were a great help and comfort in Diane's final days. Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, May 27, 2021, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Jerry Kinback officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 10am-11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in Diane's name can be made to Mercy Hospice, 4369 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44718.
