Dianne M. (Dilger) Heinz, 80 of Canal Fulton, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 surrounded by her kids and best friend of 55 yrs, Douglas Anderson. She was born October 24, 1939 to the late Duane Dilger & Kathleen Ann (Gruss). She is survived by her son, D. Scott Heinz and daughter, Renee B. Heinz-Dillon (Wayne), many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren, Nevada Sage and Anthony Duane, sisters, Virginia Garbincus and Kathleen Ann Rhamy. Mom graduated from the University of Akron at the age of 50 with a degree in Political Science and Economics and was part of the Alpha Phi. She retired from Gates McDonald as a Tri-County Senior Claims Representative. Mom enjoyed spending time with family and going out to lunch with friends. She was the neighborhood mom to all of our friends growing up. You had a problem she listened and gave good advice. Mom would travel abroad with friends and family checking things off her bucket list. Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
