Donald E. Begert, 67 of Marshallville, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025. Born February 1, 1958 to the late Glenn and Beverly Begert. Don was a Masonry teacher for the Norton City School District for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randall Begert and sister, MaryAnne Begert.

Don is survived by his sons, James (Wendy) Begert and Jeffrey (Sonja) Begert; sister, Nancy Curtiss (Denny); girlfriend, Paula Pryor; five grandchildren; one great grandchild and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St E. (Rt. 93), Canal Fulton, OH 44614. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10am at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home with Deacon Robin Adair officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Clinton Cemetery.
