Donald R. Burwell, 87 of Canal Fulton, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at his home. Born in Massillon, OH to the late Burl Sr and Florence (Hoffman) Burwell, he was a Canal Fulton resident for the past 53 years and retired from Babcock and Wilcox Co with over 30 years of service. Donald was a member of the Jackson Friends Church, many local lodges and societies and was a proud Army Veteran. Donald enjoyed dancing with his wife, playing cards, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents Donald is preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Marjorie (Neidert) Burwell; daughter Pamela (Donald) West; grandchildren Scott (Heather) West, Angela (Christopher) Hann, Douglas (Sharla) West; great-grandchildren Madeline and Mason West, Breydan and Ethan Hann, Emma and Austin West; brother Burl "Bud" (Frances) Burwell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, July 20, 2015, 11:00am, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Friends may call SUNDAY from 6pm to 8pm and one hour prior to service time on MONDAY. Burial at Rose Hill Memory Gardens, Massillon. In lieu of flowers memorials in Donald's name can be made to Aultman Hospice.
