Donald G. Hare Jr., 72 of Canal Fulton, went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 5, 2017. He passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends. Don was born Nov. 15, 1944 in Barberton to the late Donald Sr. and Louise (Brubaker) Hare. He graduated from Ohio Northern University and was the owner-operator of Heritage Square Pharmacy in Canal Fulton for 30 years. Don loved spending time with family and always greatly enjoyed holidays and family get togethers. He was a member of the Canal Fulton VFW Post 9795. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son David Rex. Don is survived by his wife Gail (Triplett) Hare; daughters, Colleen (Cecil) Croston, Jan (Doug) Hare, Rae Ann (Greg) Hoffman; son, Mitch (Teresa) Rex; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna (Jerry) Sulzbach and Doree (Jerry) Woog. Funeral Services will be held WEDNESDAY, 11:00am, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Pastor Mike Marette officiating. Burial at Clinton Cemetery. Calling Hours, Tuesday, 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
