Donald E. Johnson, 80 of Marshallville, passed away at home surrounded by family Friday, January 2, 2026. He was born May 8, 1945 in Massillon to the late Robert and Genevieve (Pratt) Johnson. Don worked for Clinton Aluminum and retired from Metro RTA after 13 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, repairing classic cars and working on his home. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Cabrera. Don is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ida (Miller) Johnson; sons, Bill (Deborah) Johnson and Robert Johnson; grandchildren, Billy Johnson, Travis Johnson, Justin Johnson, Caitlin Johnson, Vivian Johnson and Megan (Jim) Calhoun; great-grandchildren, Colton, Owen and Grayson.

A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, January 17, 2026, 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Luna Lake Clubhouse, 8177 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Clinton. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the family.
