Donald Kovacs, 59 of Green, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 2, 2012. Don was born on January 10, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Dorothy (Lewis) Kovacs. Don graduated from Green High School in 1971 and was a lifelong resident of Green. Don was employed at Standard Jig and Boring in Green and was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He always enjoyed his time with friends and family. Don was preceded in death by his father, Frank Kovacs and is survived by his wife, Kathi Kovacs and two sons, Jeremy and Tyler Kovacs of Green; his mother, Dorothy Kovacs of Kissimmee, Florida; his brother, Dave (Rosie) Kovacs of Clinton; his sister Dianne (John) Simmons of Iron City, Tennessee and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends, MONDAY, July 9, 2012 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton).
