Obituary

Donald Edward Steiner, 83 of Canal Fulton peacefully passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. Don was a life resident of Canal Fulton, retired Owner Operator of Steiner Builders Supply and as a bus driver with the Jackson Local Schools, He served in the US Naval Reserves and was a member of Canal Fulton Volunteer Fire Dept., Canal Fulton VFW #9795 and SS Philip & James Catholic Church. Preceded in death by , parents, Edward W. and Justine E. Steiner; his first wife, Mary Ellen (Dye) Steiner; sister, Sister Doris A. Steiner. Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judi (Moke) Culp Steiner; children, Donna (Gary) Nettle, Cathy (Gene) Miner, Larry (Barb) Steiner, Tom (Kelly) Culp, Bob (Colleen) Culp and Wendy (Steve) Duncan; 12 Grandchildren; Seven great grandchildren; brother, Ron (Jean) Steiner; nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial THURSDAY 10:00 a.m. at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 High St. N, Canal Fulton with Fr. Kevin McCaffrey celebrant and burial in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call WEDNESDAY 4-7 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 4369 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
