Donald W. Turner, 87, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was born on August 4, 1935  to the late Willard Turner and Mary (Matheny) Tesch. He was a proud US Army Veteran having served from 1958-1960. Don retired from Superior Dairy after many years of service. He loved playing cards, flea market shopping, the outdoors, nature, sitting by a campfire and his companion pet parrot Ernie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kay Turner; brothers, Jerry Turner, Tim, Roger, Dan, Robert, and Bill Tesch. Don is survived by his daughter, Connie Turner; granddaughters, Miranda (Eric) Woods, Megan King and Rachel (Mitchell) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Leah, Addison and Alivia; brothers, Ed, Joe and Kenny Tesch. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held SUNDAY, August 28, 2022, 11:00am at Newmans Creek Cemetery, 14411 Orrville St NW, North Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708.
