Donna Mae (Lawrence) Fisher, 86 of North Lawrence, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was born July 20, 1938 to the late Kenneth and Alice Lawrence. Donna worked 10 years for Westinghouse in Orrville and was also a homemaker. She loved family gatherings, going on rides through the countryside which always ended with getting ice cream, traveling with family and friends and spent 50 plus years going to Canada on fishing trips. Donna also enjoyed watching sports and playing cards with friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Albert Fisher; sisters, Carol Myers and Sharon Stewart. Donna is survived by her children, Diane (Lester) Shane, Susan (Mark) Chaplin, Jane (Jeff) Casto, Craig (Lynne Marie) Fisher; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Judy (Ron) Nahay and brother-in-law, Richard Myers The family would like to thank Donna's private in home care givers, the staff at Brewster Parke and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care of Donna. Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, May 3, 2025, 12:00pm (Noon) at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Pastor Phil Hoverstock officiating. Burial at Newmans Creek Cemetery. Visitation prior to the service from 10am to 12pm (Noon) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Crossroads Hospice or the North Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department.
