Doris L. Gorby, 92 formerly of Clinton, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021. Doris  was born June 9, 1928 in Glover Gap, WV to the late Guy and Edith Hayes. She moved to Clinton when she was 14 years old to live with her "adoptive" parents Harry and Mildred Lartigue. Doris was a devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Gorby; life long partner, David Bedlion; sisters, Captola Rader and Helen Ramsey; special uncle Arley and aunt Ivy Roberts; and grandson, David Gorby Jr. Doris is survived by her children, Sandra (Paul) Himelrigh, David Gorby, Jeffrey (Paula) Gorby and Lisa Culp; grandchildren, Michael Culp, Andy Gorby and Kristen Robinson; beloved great-grandchildren and sister, Delore Potts. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, March 29, 2021, 11:00am, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton, Pastor Doug Gregory officiating. Burial at Manchester Cemetery.
