Doris J. Cameron (Just), 88 of New Franklin, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021. She arrived on this earth in 1933 to Henry and Hilda Just. She spent the first 5 1/2 years attending Clinton Grade School and then the next 6 1/2 years attended Manchester High School where she graduated in 1951 and was a cheerleader all of her high school days. After graduation worked for B.F. Goodrich, Carter Jones Lumber and secretary for Lakeview Christian Church until retirement. A member of the Clinton Church of Christ/Highpoint Christian Church since 1953, then put her membership in Lakeview in 2017. Was a Sunday school teacher and youth sponsor for many years. Married high school sweetheart Richard "Dick" Cameron. Preceded in death by husband, Dick; brother, Bill Just; sister, Vi and Arwood Dickerhoof; parents, Henry and Hilda Just; in-laws, Albert and Myrtle Cameron, Howard and Lily Anderson, Pete and Donna Foltz, Cheryl Just; survived by sisters-in-law, Carol (Royce) Davis, Janet (Wilbur) Good; aunts; 11 wonderful cousins and spouses; 17 caring and loving nieces and nephews and spouses; precious 28 great nieces and nephews and spouses; several adorable great-great nieces and nephews. Better known as "Auntie D". Funeral services will be held TUESDAY, October 19, 2021, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, with Darryl Moulder and Gene Dietz officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. Calling Hours Monday, 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
