Dorothy Marie Hildreth peacefully transitioned at the age of 94 on Monday, June 8, 2026. She was born in Barberton, Ohio on May 21st, 1932 to parents, Pete and Mary Zuni.

Dorothy was a graduate of Northwest High School where she was a beloved secretary for 26 years. During her summers off she enjoyed her produce stand and canning her delicious Hungarian Wax peppers and beets. Dorothy and her mother Mary enjoyed going to the Hartville Flea Market on Mondays to sell Mary’s beautiful homegrown gladiolas and vegetables.

Dorothy loved her family and hosted large, delicious holiday dinners. At Christmas she loved giving and opening gifts around the Christmas tree. In her later years she loved going to Amish country with son Dean, going to her favorite restaurant Mrs. Yoders and spending time with her son Rob who often took her to Sweet Henry’s in Norton which she loved as well.

She leaves behind son, Dean Hildreath and son-in-law, Eric Duff of Worthington; son, Rob Hildreth and daughter-in-law, Deb Hildreth of Massillon; grandson, Corey Hildreth and his wife Megan Hildreth and great grandson, Bryce Hildreth of Massillon; granddaughter, Ashley Lamp and great granddaughter Madi Rittenhouse of Massillon.

Funeral Services will be held FRIDAY, June 12, 2026, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home. Burial at Clinton Cemetery.
