Dorothy M. Konen, 96 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026. A life resident of Canal Fulton, she was born August 14, 1929 to the late James and Marguerite Rohr. She was a member of SS Philip and James Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and was dedicated to decorating the church for all occasions.

Dorothy enjoyed being a seamstress, whether altering wedding dresses for family or working on uniforms for the Northwest Cheerleaders and Band members. She loved flower arranging and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Konen; brothers, Vernon, Thomas and James Rohr; sisters, Sr. Julia Rohr OSB and Sr. Marietta Rohr CSA. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kathy Konen; son, Greg (Marcy) Konen; grandchildren, Brandon (Mackenzie) Konen and Lindsay (Joe) Pastier; great-granddaughter, Freya Konen; brother, Bob Rohr; sister, Sr. Ruth Rohr OSB; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held THURSDAY, April 16, 2026, 11:00am at SS Philip and James Catholic Church, 412 High St. NE, Canal Fulton with Fr. John Sheridan celebrant. Burial at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
