Earleene Frances (Booth) Childers passed away March 7, 2026 to her eternal home. She joined her faithful husband, Carl Ray Childers, who preceded her on September 22, 2009 to join him in praise of God Almighty forever and eternally.
Earleene was born October 20, 1934, the middle child, to Clarence Steffey Booth and Erma Lee (Allen) Booth in a log cabin in Fincastle, Virginia in Botetourt County.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Ovella Roberson and brother, Calvin (Sonny) Booth.
Earleene and Carl were married October 27, 1956 and celebrated fifty-two years together. From this union were born sons, Dennis (June) of Jackson, Ohio, Mark (Dana) of Marietta, Georgia and Tim (Joanna) of Grand Rapids, Michigan all which survive. Seven grandchildren, five great grandsons and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews survive also.
Earleene was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church since 2012.
Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, March 12, 2026 at Hope Lutheran Church, 999 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron at 12:00PM with Rev. Jack Kozak officiating. Family will receive friends from 10am to 12pm before the service. Burial committal will be in Manchester Cemetery on West Nimisila Road in New Franklin. Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home of Canal Fulton is in charge of funeral services.
