Eleanor J. Harget, 95, passed away Sunday June 1, 2025. She was born May 20, 1930 to the late Louis and Mary (Florimonte) Bamonte.

Eleanor was a member of the Portage Lakes #2213 AARP group, Kenmore Seniors, and Baptist Temple Golden Agers. She was also a board member of RSVP, volunteered for the City of Akron, and the American Red Cross of Barberton. Eleanor retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. with 30 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harget. Eleanor is survived by her sister, Anna Marie West and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff of Legacy Living Copley and Traditions Hospice Care for their compassion and care of Eleanor.

Visitation will be held FRIDAY, June 6, 2025, 10:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00am. Burial at Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675 or a charity of your choice.
