Erskine B. Partin went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 19, 2017. He was 89 years old. He was born in Dechard, Tennessee on November 1, 1928 to the late Willard and Tressie Partin. He moved to Akron with his family at the age of 14 and it was in Akron that he met and later married his wife, Marjorie (Luzader) and they had one daughter, Deborah (Kennell). He worked and retired from Firestone. He loved his God, his family, people and nature.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and daughter and is survived by his brothers, Ulysses (JoElla), Lloyd (Ruth), and David (Darlene), as well as his son-in-law Kenneth Kennell; grandchildren, Angela (Tim) Sipos, Nancy (Nick) Papadelis, Randon (Samantha) Kennell, Tamara (Robert) Swartz; great-grandchildren, Justin, Hannah and Cameron.

His sweet, gentle spirit blessed all those that knew him and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends that loved him so much.

Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, 12pm (Noon) at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Rev. Chris Machamer, officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30am until the time of service.
