Evelyn M. (Newstetter) Bloomfield, 91, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Born December 17, 1925 in Bowdil, OH to the late Leland and Anna (Eschliman) Morris, she retired from Tuslaw Local Schools in 1988 after 22 years of service. Evelyn was a lifetime member of Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church where she served as the organist for many years. She taught piano lessons, was the pianist for Massillon Senior Center and loved her garden and flowers. Preceded in death by husbands Floyd Newstetter Jr. in 1992 and Burl Bloomfield in 2007; she is survived by her sons Dave (Teresa) Newstetter, Ken (Beth) Newstetter; grandchildren, Christopher (Sara) Newstetter, Heather (Kayne) Rigney, Charity (Craig) Patterson; great-grandchildren, Emma, Liam, Daniel, Ocean, Evelyn, Charlotte, Austin, Calli and brother, Don Morris.

A Memorial Service will be held SUNDAY, 3pm at Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, 14411 Orrville St NW, North Lawrence, Rev. Bob Mitchell and Rev. Ignatius David, officiating. Friends may call ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the church. Inurnment at Newmans Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
