June 3, 1952 – February 4, 2023
Farilyn (George) Buchman of Canal Fulton, went to her eternal home with her Lord on February 4th 2023, at the age of 70. She was born at Canton Mercy Hospital on June 3, 1952, to Duane W. and Marilyn (Culler) George, and spent her entire life in Stark County. Farilyn was a 1970 graduate of Oakwood High School, and retired from the North Canton Public Library after 30 years of service. A member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church, Jackson Twp. Farilyn was a lifelong Lutheran and had an abiding faith in her Savior. The greatest joy in her life was spending Nana time with all her children; family meals when the little ones would start asking for "Sushi Sunday" and game days kept her young and active. She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter Jade Riley Wolfarth. Farilyn is survived by David S. Lindsay her love and life partner of 44 years, daughter Alison G. (Robert) Wolfarth, grandchildren Caitlyn (Donald) Gram, James (Cheyenne) Buchman, Peyton and Brooke Wolfarth, and 5 great grandchildren Hailey, Preston, Riley, Avah and Isabella. She is also survived by her two sisters Robin Iverson and Mona (Charles) Foy; and sister-in-law Lynn Stroud. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, February 13, 2023, 11:00am at St. Jacob Lutheran Church, 8697 Mudbrook St. NW, Massillon with Pastor Angie Storer officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation SUNDAY, 2pm to 4pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton and also Monday one hour prior to service time at the church.
