Frances Ellen Fowler, 93 of Canal Fulton, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl in 2006; parents, Ray and Edith Wilson; brothers, Cecil, Pete, Ike and Paul Wilson. She is survived by her children Lucretia (Fred) Hodgeman of Clam Lake, WI, Ray (Brenda) Fowler and Mark (Alexis) Fowler of Canal Fulton; grandchildren Tawn (Shawn) Hornbeck, Fred Hodgeman, Tara Hodgeman, Amanda (Jeff) Helinski and Shelly Fowler; four great-grandchildren; and brother Bob Wilson of Shingletown, CA along with many nieces and nephews. Frances was born in Indiana and met her husband while he was sheering sheep on her family's farm and were married for 66 years. Frances devoted her life to her family and her faith. She loved country music, square dancing, cooking, gardening and was well known for her love of rooster decorations. Frances was a member of the Eastern Star, worked in the Northwest School System and Chapel Hill Nursing Home. She will be truly missed by anyone who was lucky enough to have met her. The family wishes to thank Chapel Hill for the love and support they provided the family. Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, March 24, 2016, 10:00am, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
