Gail Ann Wilson, 66 of Canal Fulton passed away peacefully Friday, December 9, 2016, surrounded by her family. Gail received state of the art care from the Cleveland Clinic, and was grateful for the amazing team of health care providers that took such excellent care of her over the past several years. Gail was a lifelong resident of the Canal Fulton area, graduating from Manchester High School, received a degree in Social Work from the University of Akron. From a young age, Gail was determined to help others and turn that passion into a lifelong career. As a social worker she helped people receive entitlement benefits. She worked 37 years for Summit County Jobs and Family Services and  following retirement, she returned to work as a contractor for  Revcare. She was a Christian and practiced her faith as a member of the Canal Fulton Christian Fellowship. Her true love was her family and she cherished her role as a  Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Anna Theresa (Heppe) Robinson and brother, Edward C. Robinson. Gail is survived by her husband, Daniel Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sarah Wilson and their son, Liam and extended family including numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be THURSDAY 11:00 a.m. at the Canal Fulton Christian Fellowship, 2021 Locust Street, Canal Fulton with Pastor Doug Dill, officiating. Entombment will take place at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call AT THE CHURCH, WEDNESDAY 5-7 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service.
