Gale S. Schilling 78 of New Franklin, passed away March 5, 2023 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. She was a caring mother, loving wife and loved her grandkids. She retired from Northwest Local Schools after 30 plus years as head cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Daisy Sellers; sister, June and brother, David. Gale leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Robert R. Schilling; daughters, Sandy (Denny) Ardman, Kelly (Jody) Summers and son, Bobby (Rosalie) Schilling. She was a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Cleveland Clinic/Akron General and a special thank you to the staff at Justin T. Rogers Hospice for their kind and compassionate care in mom's final days. Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY, March 14, 2023, 11am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Clinton Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
