Gary R. Caldwell, 83 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023. He was born September 13, 1939 in Waynesburg, KY to the late AK and Julia Caldwell. Gary graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biology and would go on to work at Goodyear as a chemist. He was a member of the former Akron Baptist Temple and the Masonic Lodge. Gary enjoyed gardening and especially loved time spent with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Tiffany Iler; brothers, Marston Caldwell, Galen Freeman Caldwell, Jerry Caldwell and Richard Caldwell. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret Caldwell; daughter, Tamara (Richard) Iler; son, Eric Caldwell and grandson, Justin Iler. In loving memory. Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again. I love you. Per the family's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy can be shared on Gary's Tribute Wall.
