George Albert Conkle, Jr. passed away on April 8, 2026 at the age of 67.

George was a resident of Canal Fulton and graduated from Chippewa High School and R.G. Drage Career Center.

He was employed for many years at Camp’s Auto Salvage but he will be best remembered as the owner of Oser’s Dairy and Deli for over 20 years where he became a cherished and loved member of the community.

He was a member of the Automotive Technical Association for 30 years and had a passion for Ford Mustangs and trucks. He served as a Pit Crew Member for Tim Wilkerson Racing and John Force Racing and was an avid fan of Drag Racing where he was a constant attendee of racing events nationwide.

He loved Rock and Roll music and delighted in cooking for friends and family.

He is survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held SUNDAY, April 19, 2026, 2:00pm to 4:30pm at The Warehouse on the Canal, 239 Canal St. N., Canal Fulton, OH.
