Gerald Walter Smith, 69 died Friday, March 27, 2015 at Summa of Western Reserve, Cuyahoga Falls. Gerald was born February 23, 1946 in Barberton to the late Ralph and Lucille (Swigart) Smith and was a life resident of the area. He served in the U S Air Force and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his son, Gerald R. Smith; daughter, Tonya Stemple; grandchildren, Caitlin and Mercedes; wife, Georgiana Smith; brothers, Robert "Bob" and Harold "Bud" Smith; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held THURSDAY, April 2, 2015 at 11. at the Swigart- Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St., (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Rod Grabski, officiating and where friends may call THURSDAY 10:30am until time of service. Final resting place will be Lockwood Cemetery.
