Geraldine L. (Kiplinger) Humenyik, 89 of Manchester passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Affinity Medical Center, Massillon. Geraldine was born August 8, 1927 in Manchester to the late Roscoe and Chloe (Hedd) Kiplinger and had been a life resident of the area. She was a member of Grace Bible Church, Manchester and the Ladies Auxiliary of Firestone VFW Post #3383. She wintered in Florida for many years and enjoyed playing golf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Stephen J. Humenyik; sons, Barry and Ralph Humenyik; brothers, Ralph and Harold; sisters, Mary, Gladys, Mabel Marie and Mildred. She is survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, special friends Gary and Lori Cannady, nieces, nephews and many close friends. Funeral service will be THURSDAY 12:30 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton with Pastor Cary Duckett officiating and where friends may call THURSDAY one hour prior to time of service. Burial will take place in Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Road, New Franklin, OH 44319.
