Gloria J. McCombs, 70 formerly of Akron died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015. Gloria was born April 4, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to the late Edwin and Doris (Shaw) Schwendler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas A. McCombs and brothers, Wayne and Douglas Schwendler. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Dean) Blackburn and Doris (Dennis) Boecker; sons, Richard (Kelly) McCombs and Robert (Tammy) McCombs; sister, Marilyn (Terry) Peak; Grandchildren, Zach, Ashley, Tobie, Morgan, Brittany, Makenzie, Megan, Joshua and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service FRIDAY, 12 NOON at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East, (Rt.93, Canal Fulton) with Pastor Phil Hulgin officiating. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

Friends may call THURSDAY from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home and FRIDAY one hour prior to time of service. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Ronald McDonald House, 6611 Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131 in her great grandson Cody's honor.
