Gwen Rider, 82 formerly of Lawrence Twp. passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022. She was born September 22, 1939 in Seagraves, TX to the late Newburn and Madelyn Crawford. She enjoyed bowling, gardening and especially spending time with her grandkids. Gwen was such a sweet and caring person. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Rider; granddaughter Madelyn May Rider; brothers, Robert and Terry Crawford; sister, Nita Couch. Gwen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Brayton Rider; son, Brayton (Theresa) Rider II; grandchildren, Brayton III, Elijah, Faith, Sarah and Noah; sister, Connie Roebuck. Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, May 5, 2022, 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
