Helen Gabriel age 82, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Magnolia Village in Wadsworth, Ohio. She was born on November 19,1928 to the late Thomas and Anna Milton. Helen will be remembered as an awesome, loving mother and grandmother. There is no greater gift than to have such a wonderful and kind mother ! She was a life-long member of the Greek Orthodox Church, (The Annunciation) in Akron, where she sang in the choir for several years. Helen was an avid sports fan and loved to bowl in her earlier years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Gabriel and her dear sister Lula Kefalos. Helen is survived by two daughters, Joanne West of Las Vegas, and Penny Young of Barberton. Also surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Joi Gabriel of Barberton, and Thomas and April Gabriel, of Canal Fulton. Helen leaves behind ten grand-children and six great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service officiated by Father Jerry Hall will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
