Henry W. Wengerd, 83 of Canal Fulton died Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Born on June 25, 1932 in Mt. Hope, OH to the late Eli and Martha (Miller) Wengerd he had been a Canal Fulton area resident for the past 45 years. Henry was an Agronomist where he worked many years for Graber Mills holding numerous positions. He was a partner in Spring Hill Dairy, owner of H. W. Wengerd and Sons feed mill in Clinton, worked for Whitehouse Tree Farm in Sharon Center, was a truck driver and also delivered wood.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brother Emery and sister Iva; Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Nancy (Stutzman); children, Mary (Jack) Everett, Steve (Deb) Wengerd, Jim (Elizabeth) Wengerd, Deb (Larry) Steiner and Bob (Mary) Wengerd; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Emma Masters and Mary Nisley and brother Lonnie Wengerd.
Calling Hours will be held SATURDAY, 2pm to 5pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A Celebration of Henry's Life will immediately follow calling hours at the Canal Fulton Community Center, 735 E. Cherry St. Private burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
