Herbert D. Turner, 65 of Freeport, OH, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. Herb was born June 4, 1952 in Barberton to the late Edison and Esther (Anderson) Turner. He was a simple man who never asked for anything other than good conversation and who kept his word. He was a man of many self-taught trades and who never spoke of his pains. Herb was a great outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his own slice of Heaven which he built with his own two hands. The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Hospital and their Compassionate Care Facility, for their kind and loving care of Herb. In addition to his parents, Herb was preceded in death by his brother, Ernie Turner and sister, Mary Turner and is survived by his wife, Dianna (Barker) Turner; sons, Herbert (Becky) Turner, Jr., Brent Barker, Allen (Cheryl) Barker; daughters, Crissy Stephens, Angel (Tazz) Smith, Dione (Austin) Stephens, Mary Stephens; sister, Margie Turner; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, 12pm (Noon) at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Rod Grabski officiating. Burial at Greenmont Cemetery, Freeport, OH.
