Hester "Bernadine" Blile went home to her maker on July 1, 2015 peacefully in her home with her family at her side. Bernadine was born in 1932 in Beallsville, Ohio to Charm and Priscilla Gates and was a 47 year resident of Louisville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband John Blile' sisters Sara Blackledge and Donna Jean Mills and brother Marvin Gates. She is survived by siblings Darrel Gates, Beula Wolf and Raymond Gates; three children, sons Frank McDougal (Patricia) and Douglas Blile and daughter, Pamela Martin. Bernadine had 6 grandchildren; Frank McDougal Jr and Patricia Gibbs, Priscilla and Jamie Tolin, and Amanda Steidl and John Blile. She also had five great-grandchildren and one on the way. Bernadine was a beautician for many years and she loved singing and playing country music with her family. She was also known for her strong work ethic that she instilled in her children and grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held in her home.
