Iris Jean Takacs, our mother, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Takacs and son John M. Takacs. Iris is survived by her children, Carol Gibson, Beth Williams, Cindy Prophater and Bill Takacs; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Gaslite Villa and Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care of their mother. A Memorial Service will be held, SATURDAY, February 15, 2014, 4:00 pm, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Crossroads Hospice.
