James F. Rose, Sr. 74 of Canal Fulton, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was born November 23, 1947 in Morgantown, WV to the late Noah and Manetta (Bray) Rose and had been an area resident all of his life. Jim was a proud Army Veteran and retired from Babcock and Wilcox Barberton after 48 years of service. He loved his farm, cows, animals and especially his dog Charlie. Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ethel; children, Sherri (Paul) Rose, Rebecca Rose, James (Amy) Rose, Jr. and Jonah Rose; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Martha) Rose; sisters, Lutricia (Jack) Rose and Tammy (John) Bray. Visitation will be held TUESDAY, January 25, 2022, 4pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7pm.
