James O. Stewart, of Canal Fulton passed away suddenly at his home
Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014. Jim retired from Construction after 40 years of service. He was a member of Canal Fulton United Methodist Church and Portage Lakes Wayfarer Lodge #789, F & AM, where he just received his 50 year award. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodger and Great grandchild, Kyle. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Kay, he was a loving father to Cheryl; grandchildren, Tony (Kristy), Amy (Mike), Deanna (Ray) and Mathew (Nikki); great grandchildren, Tyler, Nathaniel, Jack, Christian, Gabe and Connor; brothers, Doby, Wayne, Johnny and the late Gene; several circles of close friends.
Funeral Service THURSDAY, 11 am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Pastor Jon George officiating and where friends may call WEDNESDAY, 4 pm to 7 pm and one hour prior to service on Thursday. Burial Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Jackson Twp.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Kyle Stewart Memorial Fund at any First Merit Bank.
