Jane E. Collins, 85, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born August 7, 1939 in Akron to the late Paul and Doris McGarry; Jane was a member of the former St. George Catholic Church in Clinton and retired from Barberton Hospital.

Jane loved writing, music and sports, especially Notre Dame Football. She was a selfless, caring and generous person; whether volunteering with Mecca or donating to various veteran charities and St. Jude. Most importantly Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James T. Collins; brother, Robert McGarry and sister, Maryann Longaberger. Jane is survived by her children, Colleen (Roger) Foster, Mike (Kelly) Collins, Tim (Lisa) Collins, Scott (Kim) Collins and Joseph (Debbie) Collins; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, March 6, 2025, 2:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Deacon Robin Adair officiating. Visitation Thursday, 12pm to 2pm prior to the service. Burial at Clinton Cemetery.
