Janet R. Harbaugh, 78 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon. Born in Akron to the late Edward and Kathleen Koch, Janet was a life resident of the Canal Fulton area and graduated from Coventry High School. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where she was a member of the choir and was active in the women's guild. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Richard Harbaugh, Mayor of Canal Fulton; children, Sandy (John) Bach, Edward (Jennifer) Harbaugh, Donald (Angela) Harbaugh, and Paul (Rebecca) Harbaugh; ten grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan and Evan Bach, Krista and Katie Harbaugh, David and Alec Harbaugh, Taylor Heard, Sidney and Audie Harbaugh. Funeral Services will be held FRIDAY, January 24, 2014, 11:00 am, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 8101 Manchester Ave, Canal Fulton, Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Calling Hours THURSDAY, 4 to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93, Canal Fulton) and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Trinity UCC building fund.
