Janie L. Remington, 68 of Canal Fulton, passed away peacefully on her birthday July 9, 2021. She was born July 9, 1953 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Raymond and Ruth (Eddy) Sinnett. Janie lived most of her life in Parkersburg, Lodi and has spent the past 20 years in Canal Fulton. She was a 1971 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. Janie loved all animals, Elvis and was always friendly walking around Canal Fulton interacting with everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Gwynne and brother-in-law, Tom Gregory. Janie is survived by her daughters, Ellen (David Miller) Remington and Ashley (Jeff Woods) Remington; grandchildren, Avery, Chloe, Danica, Bailey and Dayanna; sisters, Tanya Gregory and Tammie (Teri) Sinnett; brother, Bryan (Beth) Sinnett; former husband, Dennis Remington; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held FRIDAY, July 16, 2021, 4:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with visitation Friday, 2pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the family.
