Obituary

Jeannine "Gigi" Wittman of New Franklin,  Ohio and formerly Patton, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025.  She was born in Spangler, PA the daughter of the late William and Janet (Weakland) Beunier.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Cynthia, and brother Eric. Jeannine was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by her husband Dennis "DJ" and children:  Kristopher (Brittany) of Indiana, Sean (Jillian) and Rian (Chelsea) both of Ohio, and Jessica in Utah.  She is also survived by Nine grandchildren; Jerimyah, Peyton, Athena, Jackson, Emily, Zoey, Adele, Kamber, and Alohi. She lived in Patton during her early childhood. Jeannine graduated from Hudson High School, Florida, and acquired an Associate Degree in Business from a local community college. In 1974 when Jeannine was 14 she moved to Florida with her Mom, Sister & brother.  In 1990, she moved to Las Vegas to help her mom care for her sister as Cynthia waited for a heart transplant.     She loved living in Las Vegas where she met DJ,  the love of her life.  She and DJ continued to raise her three boys there for many years.  She worked as a Construction Superintendent for residential development projects.  She really enjoyed being in the construction  industry. In 2010, Jeannine and DJ moved to Ohio to care for DJ's father.  She continued her career as a project administrator in large commercial construction projects. Jeannine is remembered as a vibrant & loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  There was absolutely no project she wouldn't tackle.  She loved to paint.  Her artistic talents can be seen all over her home with tributes to her family on several pieces.  She loved working on projects inside and outside of her home.  She took great pride in her flower gardens and decorating skills. She had a deep love for Florida Beaches, as that was where she spent many years of her life, but most just wanted to be around her family.  She had the most infectious laugh that often reminded her Weakland side of the family of her mother.  She absolutely loved her children, and adored all of her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her... and also her precious dog Odie. Visitation will be held SUNDAY, March 16, 2025, 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton.
