IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey Allen
Lindsay
June 4, 1960 – December 9, 2025
Jeffrey “Jeff” Lindsay, age 65, of New Franklin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. He was born on June 4, 1960, in Bedford, Virginia, and lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, faith, and loyalty.
Jeff was born to Arnet and Roberta Lindsay. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnet Lindsay; his brother, Danny Lindsay; and his sister, Teresa Lindsay Kendrick.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debbie Rittenhouse-Lindsay; his children, Dannielle Lindsay Rohr and her husband Craig, Chad Lindsay, and Hailie Lindsay Joseph and her husband Kenny; his granddaughters and great-granddaughter; his mother, Roberta Lindsay; and his sister, Lois Lindsay Cote.
Jeff worked as a truck driver in his early years and later became a self-employed farmer. He valued independence, responsibility, and honest work, and he built his life around providing for and being present with his family.
In his personal life, Jeff enjoyed hunting, shooting sports, gun collecting, horseback riding, and horses. In later years, he especially enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, walleye fishing, camping, and traveling with his wife, including trips to the beach. These were the moments that brought him peace and joy and reflected the life he built and shared.
Jeff was known for the many friendships he formed throughout his neighborhood and for the steady role he played in the lives of young people around him, often through shared work, time outdoors, and simple presence.
Jeff lived his life grounded in faith and respect. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and friend whose actions spoke louder than words and whose presence left a lasting impression.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and close friends will be notified in advance.
Jeff will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
