Jennifer J. Deiss, 63 of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022. She was born December 23, 1958 in Akron and graduated from Buchtel High School and the University of Akron with a degree in Special Education. She was a teacher and case worker for 30 years with Summit County MRDD and retired in 2013. Jenny loved cooking, canning, gardening and especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Fritz Deiss. Jenny is survived by her soulmate, Jim Moffit; grandson, Leland Smith; stepsons, Dylan Yeisner and Jimmy Moffit, Jr; mother, Marilyn Deiss; siblings, Becky (Jeff) Olson, Carla Dobbins, Maria Deiss, Doug (Tari Sue) Deiss and Abby (Tom) Boser; nieces and nephews, Adam (Kayla) Olson, Annie (Greg) Lawson, Matt (Amelia) Dobbins, Missy Dobbins, Camron Deiss, Adali Deiss, Brittany Malak and Lukas Boser; many great nieces and nephews; dogs, Zeus and Zoey; cats, Laverne and Shirley. A Special Thank You to the Zahand Martial Arts family, especially Larry, Tammy and Matt Zahand. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
