Obituary

Jerry T. Fendenheim, 84 of Manchester passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011. Jerry was born in Kenmore and was a resident of the Manchester area for more than fifty years. He was a 1944 graduate of Norton High School and enlisted following graduation, and was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving in the Pacific Theater. He worked as a structural ironworker for Burger Iron Company for 39 year, was a member of Ironworkers Local #17 and attended Manchester United Methodist Church. Jerry was an avid fisherman, loved to garden and work in his fruit orchard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie Fendenheim and brother, Robert Fendenheim. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna Fendenheim; son, Daniel Fendenheim; daughter, Carolyn (Timothy) McFarland; brothers, Earl (Nancy) Fendenheim; Raymond Fendenheim; granddaughter, Gail (Andrew) Price; grandsons, Joshua Lamka and Jeremy (Danielle) Lamka; grandsons, Jacob (Amanda) McFarland and Timothy (Nikki) McFarland; great grandchildren, Mason, Maxim, Mackenzie and Anna McFarland.


Funeral Service WEDNESDAY 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry Street (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Dale Gharky officiating and where friends may call TUESDAY 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to time of services. Burial with Military Honors at Manchester Cemetery.
