Joan R. Eicher, 85 of North Lawrence, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her home. She was born June 20, 1935 in Akron to the late James and Anna (Adams) Brigham, she had been a resident of North Lawrence for most of her life and was a member of Forty Corners Church of God. Joan retired as a book keeper for Johnson Hardware after 27 years of service and after retirement worked for Attending Angels. She enjoyed gardening, working outside and most importantly spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Booth; brothers, James and Frank Brigham. Joan is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Eicher; sons, Robert Jr. (Cindy), Michael (Rebecca), John (Beth), Daniel (Judy) Eicher; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters, June Converse, Mary Ellen Sich, Rose Neal and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held SATURDAY, January 2, 2021, 11:00 am at Forty Corners Church of God, 3474 Beaumont Ave NW, Massillon, Pastor Scott Haynes officiating. Visitation Saturday, ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 408 9th St SW Suite 3400, Canton, OH 44707.
