Joan F. Stephan, 84 of Canal Fulton, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Chapel Hill Community. Born on August 22, 1932 in South Pittsburg, Tenn. to the late James and Alta (Snider) Duncan, Joan had been a resident of Canal Fulton all of her life and worked for B&W for over 30 years. Joan was a long time member of the Sweet Adelines.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald E. Stephan. Joan is survived by her brothers, James (Sylvia) Duncan of Prescott, AZ, Robert (Betsy) Duncan of Mt. Dora, FL, David (Sue) Duncan of East Canton, Gerald (Wilma) Duncan of Canal Fulton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, January 28, 2017, 1:00pm, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Pastor Jon George officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Family and friends may call ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time. In lieu of flowers memorials in Joan's name are requested to Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720.
