Joan B. Rohr, 91 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025. Born February 27, 1934 to the late John and Cecelia (Shaneman) Marchand, she was a Canal Fulton resident for 68 years. Joan retired from Portage Electric after 20 years of service and was a member of SS Philip and James Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, doing puzzles, word searches and playing euchre. Joan was a great cook and made the best apple pies. Most importantly Joan loved taking care of her family and enjoyed visiting with her nieces and nephews. She lived on Earth as one of God's Angels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rohr, nine siblings; grandchildren, Sara and Jacob Crosier. Joan is survived by her children, Barbara Stephenson, Mary Mutersbaugh, Deborah (Carl) Roach, Gregory Rohr, Patrick Rohr and Joseph Rohr Jr.; grandchildren, Michelle Stalnaker, Stacy Theis, Eric Egan, Haley Nicely, Catherine Miller and Samuel Roach; great-grandchildren, Richard Stalnaker III, Leeland Roach and Jackson Theis; sister, Carol Smith; numerous nieces and nephews. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Joan's ashes will be placed with her husband Joseph at Canal Fulton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
