Joan Marie Sapper, 75 of Canal Fulton died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 at Gaslite Villa. Joan was born August 12, 1938 in Copley, Ohio to the late Paul G. and Ann (Burrige) Sapper. She was a resident of the Akron area most of her life, attended Whippledale School in Canton and was a member of SS Philip & James Catholic Church, Canal Fulton. Joan is survived by her sister, Frances J. Sapper and numerous cousins and friends. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Gaslite Villa for their kind and loving care of Joan. Mass of the Christian Burial , Friday 11:00am at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 High Street, N, Canal Fulton with Fr.Kevin McCaffrey officiating.. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
