Joanne Smith, 75, of Canal Fulton died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Canton. She was born May 8, 1935 and had been a resident of the area since 1968. A graduate of Garfield High School, she was a housewife and mother. Anyone who knew Joanne knew a woman of integrity and honesty. She took great pride in her home and surroundings. Joanne had a special place in her heart for her brother, Al. She always looked forward to her weekly talks with her sister in Law Mona. Joanne so enjoyed Fridays at Freedom Harley Davidson to eat donuts and visit with the staff that are so dear to her and Don. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Park; father, Walter Park and brother, William Park.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don Smith; son, Kenneth Smith; brother, Al (Karen) Park; precious dog, Mickey, Jr.; many sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
