John J. Cic, 75 of Canal Fulton, formerly of Clinton, passed away Sunday Feb. 25, 2024 in his sleep. He was born Dec. 14, 1948 in Akron to Frank Sr. and Evelyn Cic and later moved to Clinton to start farming. John was a graduate of Northwest High School in 1966 and after a stint with the Army Reserves, he met the love of his life Linda cruising the Varsity Drive-In. They were married a year later in April 1970.

John enjoyed fishing, hunting, exploring the great outdoors and going to classic car shows with his "Brown Truck" a 1975 Ford F250 and won lots of trophies he was so proud of. He also loved his many 4 legged buddies, especially Riley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Bob and Nicki McBurney, brother, Frank Cic Jr. and brother-in-law, Hugh Cole. John is survived by his wife, Linda; sister, Debbie Cole; nieces Shelley (Greg), Wendy (Dan), Cindy (Ray), Denise (Cliff) and nephew, Aaron (Heather). He will be missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many lifelong friends and family.

Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, March 2, 2024, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Clinton Cemetery. Visitation Friday, March 1, 2024, 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
