Obituary


John W. Plumb, 82, of Green passed away on April 1, 2013, after a long illness.He was born April 29, 1930 in Dagenham, England to the late Bert and Edna Parker Plumb.Preceded in death by his son John, Jr. and sisters, Edith Olmstead and Lucy Malacznik of Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his sister, Edna Ford of Somerset, England and brother, Arnold David Plumb of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and he will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Barbara, son David of Bowling Green, Kentucky, daughters, Diane (David) Myers of Canal Fulton, Joyce Pannell of Cuyahoga Falls. His grandchildren, Christopher, Mariah & Griffen Plumb, Christopher (Liliana), Patrick (Kristen), Kimberly Zuchegno, Lauren Dellosa, Tara (JR) Easterling, and Steven Pennington. His great-grandchildren, Dylan Easterling, Vincent, Natalie, James and Lane Zuchegno. Prior to coming to the United States in 1955, he served in the British Navy for ten years. He worked for Spaulding Sporting Goods as a Professional Golf Sales Representative in northeast ohio for thirty years before retiring in 1989. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, Ohio Chapter, P.O. Box 105, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
